Crazy idea

So I have this crazy idea. I have had it several times but I keep telling myself its not possible, and it really probably isn't, but I'm just going to write it down to remind myself that I've had the thought. No commitment ftw. I would like to run 1000 miles this year. Currently through 29 weeks I have run 362.44. This does not bode well. That means for 23 remaining weeks I have to cover 637.56. That is 27.72 miles / week and 3.96 miles / day. The most miles I have had for any week is 20.2. To this point I have been averaging 1.7 miles per day (though the average has been increasing; 2.25 miles /day for the last 9 weeks.) However I am a year older and wiser so maybe that will help? I'm just saying...it's a nice round number.

That is crazy, but I'm loving your blog! Good luck on your quest. It looks like you will make it. I had a friend who wrote, recorded, and published on the web a different song every week for a total of 52 original numbers. I thought that was nuts! Your idea is inspirational.

Cheers!

52 songs that is amazing! What is the link I'd love to check it out. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it.

His name is Alec Steinwall and he has a myspace.com page dedicated to the project, which I think is still up and running. I'm sure you can search for it through myspace, though I think that the site only allows one to hear 4 songs at a time. Enjoy, and thanks for the reply!

You are definitely crazy...but that is why I love you so much! The only way to get to the moon to to take the first step! Or should I say "jump"! I never thought that running everyday for a year was possible...yet here you are in day 200+. You might get awful tired of the long runs in the neighborhood but 1000 miles....why not!
